Montgomery Memorial Awards at the Ventnor Jazz festival in the Isle of
Wight.
Having studied Opera and attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
he developed careers not only as a performer but also as a session singer
and recording artist in his own right.

helped to establish his growing popularity.
